Technologies Used: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Description:
I developed a word counter web application, accessible at word-count.cplatt.xyz, to provide a sleek and efficient tool for users to analyze text input in real time. Designed for writers, students, and professionals, the app instantly calculates word count, character count, and other text metrics, enhancing productivity and supporting precise content creation.

This project highlights my expertise in HTML for structuring a clean and accessible interface, CSS for styling a modern, responsive design that adapts seamlessly across devices, and JavaScript for implementing dynamic functionality, such as real-time text processing and interactive user feedback. The minimalist design and smooth performance reflect my focus on user experience and code optimization.

Purpose:
I created this app to address a common need for quick text analysis while sharpening my front-end development skills. It serves as a portfolio piece to demonstrate to employers my ability to build practical, user-centric web applications using core web technologies. The project showcases my proficiency in crafting clean, maintainable code and delivering intuitive solutions that meet real-world demands, skills I leverage to contribute effectively in professional development roles.
